  2. Malamulele District- Mavambe Branch
  3. Thohoyandou District – Makwarela Branch
  4. Bochum District – Senwabarwana
  5. Niani 2 District – Mbodi

The celebrations are in accordance with South Africa ‘s Youth Day celebrations, remembering the 1976 Soweto uprising when African learners refused the then regime ‘s compulsion to study all their subjects in Afrikaans. On that day, 16 June 1976, many unarmed Soweto learners were killed by apartheid security forces. Those who were lucky went to exile whilst thousands more were detained without trial.

The UAAC had adopted the day as its Youth Day and has been using the day to encourage the youth to priorities education, leading productive lives and to strive for spiritual upliftment.

Peace be unto all!
