Gauteng Youth have arranged a soccer tournament to promote unity and togetherness among church members from various districts on 07 March 2020. The initiative was started by the late Archbishop EMM Mureri in 2015 who indicated the importance of keeping the youth “out of streets” through sports.
Though it will be a second tournament in Gauteng Province, Limpopo had conducted several in the past where the Archbishop
Dr Mureri personally attended and encouraged even ladies to start their sport teams.
4 Districts in Gauteng have confirmed their participation, viz Pretoria, Soweto, Thembisa and Soweto 1. The tournament will be held at Siyabonga Secondary School, Bramfischerville, Soweto, starting at 09h00
UAAC members are encouraged to attend in numbers as the church promotes fitness, togetherness and unity through Sports.
