UAAC Women set to invade Ga-Dikgale
The 2011 National Women‘s Conference will be held in Ga-Dikgale, Tsiediafofa, Limpopo Province, on 11 -13 March 2011. It will be hosted by Bochum district, under Councilor Boloka. The theme of this year‘s conference is, Life of a Christian Woman in the contemporary World.
This is the second biggest gathering of the United African Apostolic Church, playing second fiddle only to the General Conference. It is set to attract thousands of women from as far as Zimbabwe and Botswana, Eastern Cape, Free State, North West, Mpumalanga and Gauteng Provinces.
Regional UAAC Bishops such as Bishop Dube from Victoria Falls, Bishop Chitewere from Harare, Bishop Jingoes from Bloemfontein and Bishop Nehelula from Musina, will grace the occasion with their presence. As in the past, members from other denominations will also be present.
Delegates from the Limpopo Provincial Government are also expected to attend the 3-day Conference.
Arch-Bishop EMM Mureri will give a keynote address which will be preceded by words of encouragement and sermons from several dignitaries that have confirmed their attendance.
The conference will also witness the official handing over of over 100 pairs of school shoes to mothers of needy kids. The School shoes collection Project was launched in November 2010 in order to assist UAAC kids who have no proper school shoes.
The National Women‘s Committee therefore appeals to all the UAAC faithful to converge in Ga-Dikgale for an experience of a life-time.
Peace be unto all.
